![]() ![]() The Call of Duty WW2 beta will soon come to an end for the second time as PS4 and Xbox One players continue to enjoy the latest boots on the ground effort from Sledgehammer Games.įans were fortunate enough to have the WW2 Private Beta begin a day early as it kicked off late on Thursday as opposed to the scheduled Friday launch date. With it being Labor Day in the states and the developers yet to truly test the new HQ feature, it certainly would make sense for a limited time extention, in much the same way that Destiny 2 developers Bungie briefly tested their own social space, The Farm. However, some fans have a few ideas of their own, with some fans convinced that it could be the beginning of a beta extension and possible roll out of the games new social space known as Headquarters. What this update could be for is anyone's guess right now and until the official Call of Duty channels confirm anything it's impossible to say with any certainty what the purpose of it truly is. Given that today is the last day of the beta, it certainly seems like a strange update for Sledgehammer to push out so late in the day regardless of size. ![]() However others have reported a much smaller 50mb update. Whats more, the version 1.03 patch isn't by any means small, with follow up tweets suggesting the update was a rather sizeable 1.5GB in size. CharlieINTEL are reporting that the game released a new patch update overnight. ![]()
